Wild and fresh, our products are never farmed, they are caught in pure unpolluted Icelandic seas and shipped straight to the processing plant within 14 – 18 hours to maintain the highest level of freshness. Iceland sea cucumbers grow more slowly than sea cucumbers from East Asia because of the cold temperature of the North Arctic waters; the ancient glaciers and volcanic waters of Iceland give the sea cucumbers a higher content of healthy minerals and vitamins.
From very cold north arctic water, they grow much slower than sea cucumbers from East Asia. Slower growth in the land where volcanic eruptions under antient glaciers giving Iceland sea cucumber relatively higher content of healthy minerals and vitamins.
